I actually took this one in June of 2007 but the bike is still there so it counts…

I realize this is not a very good shot but I think it captures some of the strangeness (perhaps creepiness?) of the city.  Last week while driving around I saw this dude in a Chewbacca suit on the corner of a busy intersection.  His sign reads “9.99 for Anything.”  He wasn’t, as far as I could tell, working for anyone but himself.  What a Wookie!

I just couldn’t decide on a cityscape image so here are two shots of the same building: the downtown bus station.  Where are you traveling to this summer?

I haven’t had the energy to post all the old cityscape images to Flikr yet so they are still huge…

It really is!  97 degrees today and the same expected all week.  And lordy lordy, it is only June.

How is it where you are?

Okay, I have changed the design once again…but now the non-Flickr images are all janked up.

But, this one below is my first Cityscape on Flickr so at least something is working.

Still playing with all this…

I have been trying for a couple weeks to upload a cityscape image with no luck. I think I figured out the problem so without further ado, a door. (don’t for get to click on this image to get better picture quality).

I love that someone took the time to paint these boxes instead of painting around them.  And, I love the happy colors: very different from the usual murals and graffiti art you usually find around here.    This mural is long gone, replaced by another one and I am so glad I snapped this picture. (picture quality way better if you click to enlarge this image).
