Hrrm. Love that the reader in question doesn’t feel that you’ve “read between the lines” and discovered the secret meaning of the book! She could have written her review without trashing yours, and exposing her inability to understand the limits of a bookreporter review.
Thanks Carrie! Yes, Bookreporter is about reviews, not literary criticism…anyhoo, I stand by my review and don’t remember animal rights being the main theme of the book. I tried to leave a comment with a link to the full review but was unable to which irked me.
